How can I list my business on Trip2Africa?

You can list your business by creating an account on our website and following the steps.

Are the room rates per person or per room?

The room rates are per person.

Can I view the prices in other currencies?

We currently do not have that option but it will be included in the future updates of the website. 

How long does it take to receive a booking confirmation?

You should be able to receive a confirmation within 24 hours. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact our customer care service.

Can children under the age of 12 share the room with the parents for free?

The charges are determined by the management of the different establishments. 

Do I get a discount if I stay longer than a week?

Our hosts determine the discounts given at their establishments and we do not determine these. 

Why should I pay the non-refundable 10% deposit fee for my reservation?

This fee is charged to show your commitment to the booking. You can pay the remaining balance at the property or tour company. We care about our clients as well as our hosts and we want to avoid false bookings on our website.

Where is the cancellation policy?

You can find our cancellation policy on our Terms of Use page.

If I made my booking but wish to change to another facility or tour company may I do so with the deposit paid with the first booking?

No. We do not transfer deposits made on reservations, so please ensure that you look through all our listings before booking. You may cancel one reservation and make another booking.

When should I cancel my bookings to prevent extra charges?

Reservations must be cancelled at least 7 days in advance to prevent our hosts from losing other clients.

What happens if I do not show up on the date reserved for me?

If you do not cancel within 7 days in advance or give valid proof for the no show e.g. flight delays, cancellations or poor health we will charge your credit card and forward the payment to our host.

Is it safe for me to put my credit card details in your website?

Trip2Africa uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all information.

Can I make special requests?

Yes, you can indicate your special requests on our booking form.

How do I know if my special request will be granted by the host?

Trip2Africa cannot guarantee the granting of special requests and this can only be determined by the host.

How can I make changes to my reservation?

You can do this by logging into your account on our website.

What do I do if my credit card payment is not successful?

We cannot guarantee a reservation and you can contact your credit card company. 

Are the tax and service charges included in the prices?

All our prices include tax and service charges.

When and how can I write a review about the services I received?

After your stay you will receive a link which will allow you to write a review about your stay or tour.

How can I ensure my safety during my travels?

Whether you are on a guided city tour or a Safari you should always listen to the guides and raise your concerns in advance. If you are unsure about your safety during a hotel stay please inform the hotel staff or consult our concierge service providers
