The camp is nestled among Mopane trees and surrounded by small koppies (small mountain hills). In the mornings it is woken by the musical sounds of birds, mainly Red-Billed Francolins. The camp boasts an unforgettable sunset and sunrise viewpoint over the beautiful granite mountains of Damaraland. Our beautiful tented camp is nestled among small koppies (hills) and shaded by Mopane trees. We are located about 19km from the famous UNESCO proclaimed World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein, and are close to all other attractions in the area. Explore the dry beauty of Damaraland while staying in our comfortable, rustic accommodation with all the facilities you will need to make your stay comfortable. We have 8 spacious tented chalets, as well as 5 camping sites, with enough space for larger groups. We are also open to day visitors. The camp was established in 2019 due to a lack of accommodation in one of the most visited areas in the country (Twyfelfontein, Damaraland). Our camp is situated about 19 km from the famous World Heritage Site rock engravings and paintings and we offer guided tours to this and other attractions in the area. Our accommodation is half board (includes breakfast and dinner) and has a restaurant, bar, wifi and laundry service. Relish in the natural wonders of this area of Damaraland while enjoying your stay in simple comfort, looked after by our trained staff. We offer a range of guided activities so that you get the most out of your stay here. The Twyfelfontein area, famous for its World Heritage site of engravings and painting, also offers a range of other attractions, including the Desert adapted elephants, Petrified Forest, Damara Living Museum and Organ Pipes. The camp is situated conveniently close to these features.
